As our Sales Trainer based in Tokyo youll play a vital role in shaping the success of our Japan sales teams and leading impactful training initiatives. Where You Come In

  • Deliver comprehensivenew hire and advanced sales training programs via in-person (Field Training) and virtual formats.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to sales representatives to enhance performance and skill development.
  • Support Regional Sales Managers in Enhancing Their Coaching Capabilities.
  • Collaborate withJapan sales leadersand cross-functional teams to align training initiatives with national and regional business strategies.
  • Assess training needs specific to the Japanese market update curriculum and design localized training plans.
  • Lead the planning and execution ofTraining related Sales Meetings and contribute to global events as needed.
  • Support onboarding product launches and other key sales enablement initiatives.
  • Partner with the global training team to manage and localize content within the companys Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Manage training-related vendor relationships and oversee training-related budgets and resources for Japan.

  • You are flexible and willing to work evenings or weekends to support training events when needed.

Experience and Education

Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales training and program design within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
  • Familiarity with theJapanese healthcare market.
  • Experience in the diabetes field is a plus.
  • Certifications such asDISC Situational Leadership GROW Coaching are a plus.

Travel Required

  • Up to50% travel primarily within Japan.
