Job Description


Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full-Time Facilities Repair and Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Team based in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. This position will serve all our locations in North Central Saskatchewan.

Reporting to Facilities Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Conduct the ongoing inspections, maintenance, and repairs of the structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing including manual and automatic car wash bays.
Maintain compliance with Asset Protection and Health and Safety Standards always completing assigned work in a safe manner, while wearing all appropriate PPE, obeying rules of the road, and following all appropriate safety policies and procedures.
Determine best practices for implementing ongoing preventative measures and addressing the reactive and emergent requirements to prolong life of existing and new equipment.
Respond to building deficiencies in a timely and professional manner.
Use data base and communication tools to track assigned work, record notes, and close cases.

Perform all other duties as assigned.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.

You have 1-3 years of facility repair and maintenance experience.
Physical labour is required; including standing, driving, walking, climbing and kneeling; must be able to work in, on, around, over and under fixed equipment and to work from lifts and ladders; lifting and carrying weighted material (up to 50lbs).
