Empower Students Nationwide Work Remotely as a Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
VocoVision is looking for a dedicated and skilled Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to join our team of virtual educators. This is a unique opportunity to support students in a remote setting, helping them access quality education and thrive in their learning environments.
Position Overview
As a remote DHH educator, youll deliver engaging, personalized instruction to students with hearing impairments using cutting-edge virtual tools. Youll play a key role in helping learners reach academic milestones while collaborating with school teams and families to ensure their success.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide individualized instruction to DHH students via a secure online platform
Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and communication needs
Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
Partner with general education teachers, school staff, and families to support students IEP goals
Utilize a variety of digital resources to enhance student engagement and understanding
Requirements
Hold a current teaching license in the state of Florida with a Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement
Previous experience teaching DHH students, preferably in a virtual or hybrid setting
Strong technology skills and familiarity with online instruction platforms
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
