divh2Quality Assurance Coordinator I/h2pThe Quality Assurance Coordinator I will assist with inspecting incoming and outbound loads to ensure product meets Sprouts Farmers Market standards communicating any issues or concerns to the Quality Assurance Manager./ph3Overview of Responsibilities/h3ulliDocument quantity, quality, type, weight, test result data, and value of products, in order to maintain shipping, receiving, and production records and files./liliCount or estimate quantities of products received./liliWeigh products to maintain relevant records./liliEnsure proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facility./liliKeep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment./liliProvide guidance to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers./liliDispose of damaged or defective items or return them to vendors pursuant to company procedures or as instructed./liliRemove from stock products or loads not meeting quality standards and notify Quality Control management of discrepancies or shortages./liliMaintain, monitor, and clean work areas./liliExamine products and packaging for damage, defects, or shortages, using specification sheets and standards charts./liliInspect and verify Purchase Order quantities for all inbound Perishable loads; inspect all inbound trucks for signs of pest and rodents before unloading./liliEnsure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures pertaining to receiving, storage, and shipping; identify any issues to Quality Control management./liliDocument temperatures of all inbound loads and report to any violations Quality Control management./liliResponsible for proper rotation for all Produce inventory and various Perishable items./liliPerform daily quality inspections for all Perishable items./liliPerform daily date checks and pull all out dated product from pick and reserve slots./liliComplete daily dump and damage report and give to Quality Control management./liliObserve temperatures within cooler and cases and report failures to management./liliPay close attention to damaged or inferior product and bring to the attention of Quality Control management./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliHigh School education or equivalent required/liliMinimum 1 year Produce or other Perishable receiving and inspection experience; minimum 1 year experience in shipping and receiving/liliKnowledge of USDA grades and standards/liliAbility to operate electric pallet jack/liliGeneral knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite/liliStrong verbal and written communication skill/li/ulh3Benefits/h3pIn addition to a rewarding career, Sprouts offers a comprehensive program to help support you and your family.
