Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA/QE Analyst to join our Partner's team at a leading financial institution. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in testing and validating commercial and consumer deposit applications, ensuring the integrity, performance, and security of mission-critical banking systems.
Successful candidates must be able to provide proof of ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. This position is not open to corp-to-corp, subcontractor or independent consulting arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
+ Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for deposit-related applications (e.g., account opening, transaction processing, interest calculation, overdraft protection).
+ Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
+ Perform end-to-end testing across multiple platforms (web, mobile, backend services).
+ Validate data integrity and transaction accuracy across commercial and consumer deposit workflows.
+ Conduct regression, integration, and performance testing for new releases and patches.
+ Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal audit standards.
+ Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
+ Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
+ Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
+ 5+ years of QA/QE experience in financial services, preferably with a focus on deposit systems.
+ Strong understanding of commercial and consumer banking products, including checking, savings, CDs, and money market accounts.
+ Experience with core banking platforms (e.g., FIS, Jack Henry, Temenos, Finastra).
+ Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Postman, Cucumber).
+ Familiarity with SQL and database validation.
+ Knowledge of API testing, RESTful services, and data exchange formats (JSON, XML).
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
+ Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
+ Exposure to cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure).
+ ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
+ Understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks (e.g., FFIEC, SOX).
