Purchasing Representative – Japan 
As a Purchasing Representative, you will procure computer hardware from various suppliers in the Japanese market to meet global customer requirements in the electronic components industry. You will develop new vendors, build relationships with existing suppliers, and negotiate deals. You will also provide real-time feedback and market intelligence to our sales staff and product management team through interactions with other global locations during the procurement process. A successful candidate in this role will be adept at negotiating with counterparts and is eager to work with our account executive team to add value.

What can you do for us?

• Source product through prospecting new suppliers and managing existing supplier relationships.
• Negotiate for the procurement of product to include price, terms, and ship date.
• Ensure that quality standards are present and reflect Fusion Worldwide’s deep commitment to quality components.
• Collaborate with Account Executive team through proprietary ERP system, keeping detailed notes to maintain our unique competitive advantage.
• Proactively bring offers of product to sell.
• Provide market information gleaned from discussion with vendors.

• 3 years or above of work experience (in a professional working environment)
• A high-energy, smart, and persistent salesperson driven to succeed and revolutionize an industry
• Proficient in Microsoft office and other business tools
• Excellent interpersonal building skills and ability to negotiate effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact creatively and proactively
• A Native or a proficient speaker in Japanese language
• Good command of written and spoken English
