Roles & Responsibility

• Lead the engineering team in Input/Output management, including the exchange of 3D CAD data and deliverables.
• Manage project timelines and milestones in consultation with client managers/supervisors.
• Participate in client-side development meetings as well as supplier development meetings when required.
• Create or update 3D data, sectional models, and development documents as necessary.
• Proactively report progress, identify potential risks, and provide analysis based on the designated reporting line.

Employment Type & Conditions

Employment Type

• Contract Employee (1 year)

  • Typically converted to permanent employment in the following year.

  • Currently under reform: possibility of permanent employment from the first year.

• Managerial position.

Work Location

• Client site or on business trips.
• Client base: Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
• Company office: Dai-ichi Seimei Hibiya First, 12F, 1-13-2 Yurakucho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
  Smoking policy: No smoking indoors (designated smoking areas available).
  Transfer: None.

Salary

• Annual salary: JPY 7.2M – 9.6M.
• Monthly salary: JPY 600,000 – 800,000.
• No regular salary increases.
• No overtime allowance.

• Full two-day weekends (Saturday and Sunday), national holidays.

• Summer vacation.

• Year-end/New Year holidays (6 days).

• Childcare and nursing care leave.

• Paid vacation (10 days minimum).

スキル・資格

Required Skills & Experience

Language

• Business-level technical communication skills in English.
  (TOEIC L&R 730+ / TOEFL iBT 80+)

Experience

• 10+ years in engineering, with at least 5 years in exterior parts.

• Expertise in stamping parts design/manufacturing, body assembly processes, datum systems, open/close kinetics, sealing design, and painting processes.

• Proficiency in mechanical design using CAD, considering structural and production requirements, and part specification deployment.

• Experience creating evidence for design verification (styling feedback, tolerance stack-up, simple CAE verification, parts integration study, etc.).

• Skilled in digital verification and technical reporting (interference checks, clearance, formability, waterproof sealing, etc.).

• Proven experience in product development, team development, and understanding of automotive OEM development processes and simultaneous engineering.

• Leadership experience in managing engineering teams, including task assignment, workload balancing, and progress tracking.

Quality Management

• Familiarity with quality processes such as DMDR and QFD.
