Work Arrangement
This role is categorized as on-site. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Japan Headquarter office in Tokyo, Japan full time.
The Role -
Focal point contact person from global/regional planning functions in USA or in Korea representing Japan
Analyze market dynamics and define adequate future product portfolio plan to support Japan long term business objectives
Participate in future product program studies by providing product content, price positioning and volume opportunities
Facilitate reviews with Japan leadership team and provide market input to 10 years portfolio & volume plans in the global review process
Define future technology roll-out plan per product portfolio
Support Product & Public Policy Director for development of long-term Japan market strategy and update of business objectives
Facilitate Japan strategy review with regional/global leaders
Support GM leadership visit to Japan
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Japanese/English business level required (speaking & writing)
Adequate experience and background in automotive company
Sufficient automobile product experience
Logical thinking based on data analysis skill
Practical strategic planning skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Proven problem-solving abilities
