Lead the financial management of a portfolio of wind energy projects in Japan, building a new in-house team and collaborating with global stakeholders. ■About the companyOur client is one of the largest renewable energy developers in North America, with a growing presence in Japan. They are known for their commitment to sustainability and innovation, offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment.■Role & ResponsibilitiesYou will be the driving force behind the financial success of a portfolio of wind energy projects in Japan. You'll work closely with various teams, both locally and in our Chicago headquarters, managing financial performance, mitigating risks, and building a new in-house portfolio management team. You will play a key role in liaising with lenders, investors, and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations and compliance.■Main tasks include・Lead project finance loan closings and manage loan draw requests and payments.・Manage consent and waiver requests from lenders and consultants.・Monitor asset performance and compliance with loan covenants.・Review and update project budgets and forecasts.・Prepare financial and progress reports for lenders and senior management.・Negotiate with local stakeholders (lenders, asset managers, insurance companies, etc.).・Ensure regulatory compliance.・Grow and lead a local portfolio management team.If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, apply now.We look forward to hearing from you.#LI-Hybrid

求められる経験
■Requirements
・Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
5-10 years of experience in finance management, asset management, or a related role in a multinational company or financial institution.
・Proven experience working directly with lenders and investors.
・Expertise in financial modeling.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
・Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
・Fluent in Japanese and English (written and spoken).
・Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
・Experience in the renewable energy industry is a plus.
・CFA, CTP, or CPA equivalent qualification is a plus.
