We are a plastic surgery practice looking for a dedicated, reliable, courteous, energetic, and detail oriented surgical office administrator. You will be working directly with a plastic and reconstructive surgeon on a daily basis to coordinate a high volume plastic surgery practice.
A caring and professional demeanor is expected as you represent the first point of contact for the surgeon's office. The successful candidate will preferably have a minimum 1 year of experience in a related medical office setting.

Primary duties include but are not limited to:
- Scheduling clinic appointments, office visits, and surgical procedures
- Coordinating physician's calendar with respect to clinical duties, call schedules, and meetings
- Triaging telephone calls and faxes
- Typing confidential material related to patient care, research, teaching, and administrative duties
- Filing and processing faxes and emails
- Greeting patients, and placing them into rooms
- Sanitizing the room between patients, and making sure the office is kept clean
- Miscellaneous administrative and clinical duties as required
Additional requirements:
- Well-developed interpersonal skills when communicating with patients, other physician offices, other office staff and hospital staff, both in person and over the phone
- Ability to work independently from home and in person
- Ability to take direction when required and respond to feedback
- Excellent organization, planning, problem solving, and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to complete assigned projects and tasks in timely manner
- Experience in coordinating clinical appointments and surgical procedures
- Proficiency with Accuro, Meditech, Gmail an asset
- Ability to respond positively when challenges arise
