We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Wound Care RN to join our outpatient services team.

Job Summary:
As a Wound Care RN, you will play a critical role in providing expert care to patients with wound, ostomy, and continence care needs. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the highest standards of safety and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with complex wound care needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Provide direct wound care and educate patients and families on wound management, prevention, and treatment options.
• Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Serve as a wound care resource for staff, providing guidance and training to improve patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to wound care.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in DC, or eligbie to obtain
• BSN preferred; ASN considered with relevant experience.
• Certification in Wound Care Nursing (CWCN) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in wound care.
• Strong assessment, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
