Sage Creek Eye Centre is an independently owned and operated optometry clinic located in a fast growing suburb of Winnipeg in the southeast corner of the city. We offer a very open-door and collaborative approach to patient care. We strive to offer the most thorough and personalized eye care possible while working in a fun and supportive team based environment.
We offer complete eye care services including primary care, pediatric eye exams, myopia management, advanced disease management, contact lenses and eyeglasses.
We are looking for an optician to assist us in extending the excellence of the in office experience within the optical department and assisting our patients with any recommendations made throughout the eye exam. The ideal candidate would be very knowledgeable in all ophthalmic lens designs and associated fitting as well as all frame fitting, adjusting and repairing. Familiarity with pre-testing, front desk, running ancillary testing is considered an asset. You will be responsible for giving outstanding service, optimizing the customer experience and collaborating with the store leaders to meet all patient expectations.
Beneficial Skills and Requirements:
· Valid Manitoba Opticianry License
· Must have excellent customer service skills and attitude
· Must be extremely detail orientated, mastering time management skills and multitasking
· Must be familiar with computers – familiar with Visual Eyes considered an asset
· sales experience considered an asset
· Passionate about fashion, eyewear, and the retail industry
· Great at communicating clearly and effectively

Schedule:
· Full time or part time, mutually beneficial schedule to be determined. No Sundays.
· Only two evenings per week are scheduled.
