Optician – Join Our Family-Focused, Leading Eye Care Practice!

We are a well-established, independent eye care practice with over 30 years of experience, and we're looking for a friendly, compassionate, and outgoing Optician to join our team in Austin, Texas. At our office, we treat both our employees and patients like family, creating an environment where everyone feels at home. Plus, we value your work-life balance – we’re open Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, and you’ll have your weekends free!

Pay: $17.50 - $26.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time

• Sell eyewear based on doctor recommendations, using your eye for fashion and medical knowledge to help patients find the perfect fit. Previous optical sales experience is required.
• Adjust glasses for the perfect fit and troubleshoot any issues with patient eyewear to ensure their satisfaction.
• Assist patients in selecting and ordering eyewear and accessories, educating them on the proper care for their products.
• Work within a fun and upbeat environment that encourages personal growth and professional development. 

Required Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required. 
• ABO Certification is highly encouraged.
• A passion for fashion, an eye for detail, and an upbeat, team-oriented attitude.
