Job Description
An outpatient Oncology practice located in the New York Metropolitan area is seeking a nurse experienced in/interested in Oncology to join their nursing team!
*Responsibilities:*
* Assesses and diagnosis patients in a practice setting.
* Identifies outcomes, implements treatment and coordinates care.
* Performs and assists with oncology and radiation-related treatments, therapies, and procedures.
* Identifies expected outcomes for patients' individualized treatment plan.
* Implements identified treatment plan and coordinates all aspects of care delivery.
* Provides education and counseling to patient and family members regarding identified health needs, health care activities, immunization requirements, medication effects and contraindications.
* Meets specific clinical needs of oncology and radiation patients by using knowledge and expertise.
* Recognizes medication mid solution incompatibilities and factors affecting stability.
* Performs facility acuity coding by selecting the appropriate level of service for a diverse patient population, ensures that all pertinent clinical information is documented in the patient's medical record and supports the level of service selected.
*Requirements:*
* BSN preferred
* Must have current NY RN Licensure
* Must speak Chinese, Mandarin or Cantonese
* Must have oncology experience
_Please note- The annual base salary range is $80k to $120k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer._
