TE Connectivity's Product Management Teams manage all aspects of a product, from driving new product development to manufacturing to marketing. They are responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership and capacity plans in order to meet sales and profit targets.

We’re hiring a Product Management Manager for Auto Asia-Pacific team, reporting to Director, PM Asia-Pacific. This role will closely work with product management team in China, Japan, ASEAN and Korea, as well as other key function team such as sales, engineering, operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Managing team - Lead team work as well as talent development
- Manage product management team, set objectives and monitor progress
- Train and coach team members and monitor their performance
- Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them
- Manage month-end and year end evaluate processes
2. Product Innovation - Drive product development & evolution to build / maintain market leadership with:
- Proactive market trend analysis, close customer communication to define target product
- Competitor benchmark to understand product strength for GTM also improvement points for new product development
- Prioritization with cross-function alignment & Lead to get resource needed
- Coordinate internal team and resource to drive project launch and execution from front end GTM to back-end operation to drive product success
3. Margin Improvement - Manage product margin to achieve target level / keep at healthy level:
- Drive product cost reduction through close collaboration with operation / procurement / engineering team
- Control Price erosion / price increase with sales & pricing team
- Manage other related items such as product mix, Mfg source optimization
4. Other supporting task - Support AP PM team for other tasks such as:
- KPI target setting & progress track
- Regional / Global best practice sharing
- Cross-country project coordination
QUALIFICATIONS
1. 7+ years of product management or sales, engineering experience
2. 7+ years Automotive industry experience needed
3. Strong communication skills needed with cross-function team
4. Pro-active and fast speed of learning skill
5. Presentation/excel/data analysis skill needed
6. People management experience needed
7. Fluent English and Japanese, other language such as Chinese would-be good plus
