The Role

As a Japan Media Planner Associate, you will play a key role in developing and executing media strategies tailored to our B2B clients. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, and media partners to ensure campaigns are impactful, efficient, and on target. You’ll utilize your expertise in media planning to optimize strategies that deliver results for our clients in the Japanese market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage media strategies and campaigns for B2B clients in Japan.
  • Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to align media planning with broader business objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth research on target audiences, competitors, and industry trends to inform media planning decisions.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key media partners to negotiate and secure media placements.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging media trends, tools, and technologies in the B2B sector.

Ideal Profile

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in media planning, preferably in a B2B or digital marketing context.
  • Strong understanding of media channels and how they can be leveraged for B2B marketing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from data.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in media planning tools and platforms is a plus.
  • Fluency in Japanese (native level) and English proficiency are required.
