Contract duration - 7 months

MAIN FUNCTION

Advising and providing tailored services for our guest in order to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction and revenue.

QUALIFICATIONS

1+ years’ experience as Massage Therapist in Spa

Must be qualified in Swedish/Sports massage with NVQ, ITEC, VTCT, (minimum 150 hours)

Any additional courses, e.g. aromatherapy, reflexology, Indian head massage, Reiki, remedial massage is beneficial.

Level 2 NVQ and Level 3 NVQ (Massage)

Further trainings in specialist areas (Thai Yoga massage, Shiatsu, Lomi Lomi, etc.) are desirable

CERTIFICATES

National Seaman's Book; Basic Safety Training Certificate including Swimming & Rowing; Security Awareness Training for all seafarers; Training of Passenger Ship Personnel; Medical certificate including Mental Health and Drug & Alcohol Test; Vaccination certificates (Covid-19, Yellow fever, MMRV);

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The Massage Therapist is responsible for performing professional and service- oriented massage treatments; Explanations of spa treatments and packages to guests; Preparing the treatment rooms according to standards; Organizing and coordinating appointments; Sales promotion through sales-oriented action and active guest approach; Providing professional care to guests within the SPA & Sport areas; Extending warm and personalized greetings to all guests; consulting and selling of treatments and sales products; Responsible for cleanliness and sanitizing as well as cabin- and general cleaning in the SPA area;

Place of work: onboard a cruise ship.
