Intermediate Copywriter (Tech)

Location: Downtown Toronto, 1 day/week in office
Duration: 4+ months, approx 37.5 hrs/week
Rate: $30-35/hr.
Our tech client is looking for an Intermediate Copywriter to lead content development across a variety of formats-from product packaging and marketing guides to digital ads and event materials. This role requires close collaboration with designers, marketers, and product managers to deliver clear, benefit-driven messaging that aligns with brand voice and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead copywriting for campaigns, packaging, retail, social media, and event collateral
- Translate complex technical features into engaging, customer-friendly language
- Ensure brand voice consistency across all communication touchpoints
- Mentor junior writers and contribute to the evolution of brand tone and messaging
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, marketing, and product teams
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of professional copywriting experience (agency, in-house, or hybrid)
- Strong portfolio showcasing work across digital, print, and experiential formats
- Proven ability to adapt tone and style across various channels
- Excellent project management and strategic presentation skills
- Bonus: Experience in consumer tech or lifestyle brands
