About the Role

SVG Ventures | THRIVE is seeking a highly motivated  Marketing & Events Associate to help amplify our mission of advancing global agri-food innovation. In this role, you will support the execution of impactful marketing initiatives and world-class events that connect startups, corporations, investors, and thought leaders.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will play a key role in delivering campaigns, managing events, creating content, and analyzing performance - ensuring our brand presence continues to grow across the global agri-food ecosystem.

Roles & Responsibilities

Marketing Campaigns & Content Creation

• Plan, coordinate, and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and web.
• Manage social media accounts, including content creation, copywriting, scheduling, and community engagement.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies.

Design & Branding

• Design and develop high-quality marketing materials using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Create engaging graphics, presentations, and social media content that align with brand guidelines.
• Stay up-to-date with design trends to maintain a modern and consistent visual identity.

Events & Community Engagement

• Support the planning and execution of in-person and virtual events, including vendor management, speaker preparation, and on-site activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure flawless delivery of events such as global conferences, pitch days, and networking sessions.

Analytics & Reporting

• Analyze campaign performance and generate reports on key metrics (conversion, engagement, click-through rates, etc.).
• Use tools like Google Analytics and social media insights to optimize future campaigns.
• Assist with SEO best practices and website optimization for thriveagrifood.com.

Administrative & Team Support

• Provide day-to-day support for the marketing team to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with database management, scheduling, and other administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Marketing & Events Associate, Coordinator, Assistant, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques, including social media, email marketing, SEO, and SEM.
• Experience with graphic design software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Excellent writing and editing skills 
• Data analysis and reporting experience, with knowledge of Google Analytics and social media insights.
• Experience planning and executing events, including logistics and vendor management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
