As a Tetra Pak Maintenance Engineer, you’re the first line of defence. With training and support, you’ll become the expert in the field to maintain our cutting-edge equipment. You will be a part of a professional and dedicated team responsible for delivering technical products and support to our customers by providing preventive maintenance and technical services in food processing equipment (i. e. heat exchanger, pressure transmitter, homogenizer, valves, pumps, electric diagrams reading, DTI) and/or packaging equipment (i. e. fillers, distribution equipment) of less complex nature.

What you will do

As a Maintenance Engineer you will: 

  • Participate in preparing customer site for installation and commissioning events of packaging equipment.
  • Participate in execution of preventive maintenance activities for packaging equipment.
  • Inform relevant Tetra Pak staff in a timely manner about discovered Technical Issues.
  • Participate in the installation of relevant rebuilding/upgrade kits.
  • Inform relevant Tetra Pak Field Staff about ongoing service activities as well as of any issues affecting the customer or the quality of Tetra Pak service.
  • Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak at all times, ensuring good working relationships with the customer and Tetra Pak colleagues and that Tetra Pak’s reputation is sustained.
  • Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak and Customer safety regulations and requirements. Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak standards and requirements regarding product quality and food safety. Escalate all discovered food safety, quality assurance and regulatory issues.
  • Comply with all reporting requirements.

We believe you have

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, mechatronics, robotics, control & automation engineering or similar.
  • Few years of experience in Installations, maintenance and/or repair work, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic experience is strongly desired.
  • Technical English is required.
  • Automation skills, i.e. PLCs, HMI, industrial software knowledge.
  • A valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively.
  • An attitude to represent Tetra Pak at our customers, such as: 
    • Be service-oriented, putting the customer at first place.
    • Team player with high commitment, but with the ability to act decisively if/when needed.
    • Developed problem-solving skills, with an ability to apply structure and priority to duties. 
    • Persistent and efficient with a logical/structured way to solve issues
