We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented  Logistics Operator to manage and coordinate the operational elements of air, ground, and boat shipments from our Columbus, OH office. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the seamless transportation of goods while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with shipping regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the end-to-end logistics process for air, ground, and ocean shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries
  • Manage shipment scheduling, documentation, and tracking to maintain visibility and optimize efficiency
  • Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve shipping issues and delays
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international shipping regulations, including customs clearance and documentation requirements
  • Analyze shipping costs and recommend cost-saving measures while maintaining service quality
  • Utilize logistics software and tracking systems to update records and generate reports for internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with suppliers and customers to optimize logistics strategies and improve overall supply chain performance

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or transportation coordination at a logistics operator role on supplier side
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes, including air, ground, and maritime logistics
  • Proficiency in logistics management software and tracking systems, knowledge of Cargowise a HUGE plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to manage relationships with carriers and vendors
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve logistics efficiency
  • Familiarity with customs regulations and compliance procedures is a plus

Role can either be based in Columbus OH or Los Angeles, CA. Role is HYBRID and ability to come to the office at least 3 days per week is required
