Compensation: $18.50 – $20.00 per hour + tips + overtime pay

About the Opportunity

Hirez Manpower Solutions Inc. is recruiting Line Cooks for reputable restaurants, hotel kitchens, and hospitality employers across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) .

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with professional kitchen experience looking for long-term, stable employment in Canada’s rapidly growing hospitality sector.

Qualified applicants may be eligible for LMIA support and Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) through partnering employers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items following standardized recipes
• Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist in food prep, chopping, portioning, and labeling
• Maintain inventory levels and notify supervisors of shortages
• Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Line Cook, Commis, or Prep Cook
• Culinary education or professional kitchen training an asset
• Knowledge of safe food handling and hygiene practices
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills
• Able to work in fast-paced environments and perform physical tasks
• Willing and eligible to apply for LMIA-supported work permits (if outside Canada)
• Candidates already in Canada on a work permit or visitor status are also encouraged to apply

Compensation & Benefits

• $18.50 – $20.00/hour based on experience
