We are a modern, patient-centered optometry clinic seeking an Optician who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is warm, detail-oriented, enjoys helping patients look, see and feel their best.

What You’ll Do:

Under the direction of the optometrist and as a licensed professional, your responsibilities will include:

Eyewear & Optical Services:

• Assist patients with frame styling and lens selection based on prescriptions, lifestyle, and fashion preferences

• Take accurate measurements (PD, seg height, etc.) and perform frame adjustments and fittings

• Provide expert advice on lens options, coatings, and frame materials

• Process, inspect, and verify all eyewear orders for accuracy and quality control

• Conduct repairs and adjustments as needed

Clinic & Patient Support:

• Perform pre-testing using the latest diagnostic imaging equipment (training provided)

• Support patient flow through the clinic with a focus on excellent service and time management

• Educate patients on eye care, products, and promotions

Administrative Duties:

• Assist with appointment scheduling, billing, insurance, and general administrative tasks

• Manage phone and email inquiries with a friendly and professional demeanor

• Maintain accurate patient records and assist in inventory tracking and merchandising

What We’re Looking For:

• Licensed Optician (Ontario) – Required

• Customer Service/Sales Experience – Preferably Minimum 1 year

• Optical or optical retail experience – preferred but not required beyond licensure

• Strong communication skills and English fluency

• A creative eye for styling and a passion for helping others

• Proficiency in computer use and ability to learn clinic software

• A team player with excellent multitasking and time management abilities

Availability (Must be available for office hours):

• Monday: 10am – 6pm

• Tuesday: 11am – 7pm

• Wednesday: Currently closed – may open with continued growth

• Thursday: 11am – 7pm

• Friday: 10am – 4pm

• Saturday: 9am – 1pm ( potential for change as we grow )
