A prestigious litigation firm is seeking an experienced legal administrator to join its Century City office in Los Angeles. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity supporting a group of high-performing commercial litigators. The ideal candidate brings strong Am Law 100 experience, is well-versed in litigation procedures, and thrives in a dynamic, trial-focused environment.

On-site schedule: Fully on-site for 3 months, then hybrid (4 days in-office, 1 day remote)

Base salary: $90K–$105K + OT + Bonus

Responsibilities

  • This role involves providing comprehensive legal and administrative support to 4–5 attorneys, with occasional coverage for additional attorneys during vacation periods or trial prep.
  • Provide litigation support including drafting, formatting, and finalizing legal documents.
  • Manage e-filing in both California state and federal courts with accuracy and attention to deadlines.
  • Coordinate attorney calendars, court deadlines, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Track and enter attorney time and assist with monthly billing processes.
  • Prepare and reconcile expense reports and support general administrative tasks.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including assembling binders and coordinating logistics.
  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of TOCs, TOAs, docketing systems, and calendaring.
  • Maintain a high standard of accuracy, organization, and proactive communication across tasks.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should have 6–10 years of legal secretarial experience, including at least 3 years supporting multiple attorneys in a high-volume commercial litigation practice within an Am Law 100 firm.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and legal document management systems is expected.
