Job Description

Contract duration: 6mo (possible extension)

Location: Toronto (downtown)

Client: government domain

Rate: 75-90/hr, incorporated (rete depends on candidate's experience and expertise level)

Hybrid work model: 3 days per week onsite

Project: Records Management Sustem implementation

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience designing and delivering training programs for large-scale IT projects in a corporate setting
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
  • Experience managing multiple training streams and large stakeholder groups
  • Proficient with learning management systems and instructional software (Articulate, Adobe Premiere, InDesign, PowerPoint)
  • Certification in instructional design, project management, or change management
  • Experience in organizational change initiatives or digital transformation projects

Technical Must-Haves:

  • Articulate Storyline, InDesign, Captivate, Articulate360 and/or Adobe
  • Microsoft Office tools (expert level)
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, cloud platforms)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of innovative, technology-enabled learning and assessment programs, leveraging best practices across diverse learning modalities.
  • Develop a scalable, role-based training curriculum aligned with project goals and stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), change managers, and technical teams to define learning objectives for each stream.
  • Creation of training materials including eLearning modules, instructor-led sessions, job aids, and simulations.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Apply instructional design models and adult learning principles to ensure impactful learning experiences.
  • Provide coaching and support to trainers and facilitators to ensure high-quality training delivery.
  • Use insights to refine and enhance curriculum content and delivery methods.
