Job Description

Duncan's Limited, a leading provider of Mechanical Contracting and Custom Metal products and services, is seeking a motivated and reliable Metal Fabrication Labourer to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist skilled workers such as welders, fabricators, and sheet metal workers, with various tasks as needed
• Measure and cut materials such as metal pipes, rods, and sheets to specific lengths
• Cut, grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools
• Sort metal sheets, parts, scrap metal and other materials
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools and equipment
• Ensure warehouses are kept clean and organized at all times
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations

Job Requirements:

• Work 40 Hours per week
• 1 Year of experience working in a metal shop or similar setting
• Experience performing maintenance on various tools and machines
• Experience working with various types of metal
• Ability to perform basic welding tasks
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate material handling equipment
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
