The Role

This is a global role that supports social infrastructure through IT, while acquiring IT skills.

Responsibilities

At Kyndryl, we propose, build, and operate systems that support our daily lives.

In large-scale projects, you will engage in IT service management to ensure systems run smoothly, and contribute to maintaining and improving quality.

• Understand the customer’s current operations and systems, and under the guidance of a leader, take over and execute BAU (Business As Usual) tasks.
• Develop transformation plans for each process and coordinate with the customer to execute them.
• Practice processes centered around change management and problem management.
• Analyze root causes and support recovery when issues occur.

You may be assigned to the project described above, a similar project, or work concurrently on both.

• Demonstrates leadership in guiding teams and driving transformation.
• Willing to take on new challenges with a positive attitude.
• Possesses strong communication skills to coordinate and engage across departments.

Work Environment

• A hybrid work style combining on-site work at the customer’s location (Tokyo metropolitan area) and remote work from home. The ratio may vary depending on project phases or incident response needs.

• Fluent in Japanese

Preferred Skills and Experience

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
  (Training and certification can be obtained after joining the company)
• ITIL certification
  (Training and certification can be obtained after joining the company)
• Experience in IT service management
• Ability to communicate in English via email and meetings
