Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Support Engineer to provide end-user support, PC setup, and infrastructure operations within a dynamic environment. The role involves troubleshooting, system configuration, and maintenance of both hardware and software, while ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform PC kitting, setup, maintenance, and operation, including primary failure analysis and recovery support.
  • Provide helpdesk and troubleshooting support for end-users (onsite and remote).
  • Handle device driver applications, software installation, and license activation.
  • Configure network connections for mobile devices (Wi-Fi, tablets, smartphones) and provide general connectivity support.
  • Conduct operation verification, manual/document creation, and operational management of in-house IT products.
  • Support and manage internal applications such as file servers, email systems, Active Directory, and VLANs.
  • Assist in server and network configuration changes within the scope of routine operations.

Job Qualification:

  • Understanding of basic IT concepts and terminology (CPU, memory, SSD, video card, domains, IP addresses, MAC addresses, etc.).
  • Experience in identifying IT devices and installing/uninstalling applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows PC kitting and/or helpdesk support.
  • Proficiency with Office applications (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Experience in Wi-Fi setup and connectivity support for mobile devices.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with end-users in person.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience leading or mentoring a team.
  • Knowledge of PC hardware assembly/disassembly and recovery of broken PCs.
  • Ability to create batch files, scripts, macros, or VBA automation.
  • Experience in server OS installation, configuration, and operations.
  • Familiarity with PC imaging and deployment tools.
  • Prior helpdesk or IT department experience (onsite or client-based).
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (global vs. private IPs, LAN/router configuration).
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory management.
  • Experience in webpage creation (HTML, CGI) and using FTP/SCP for uploads.
  • Experience in IT asset management, procurement, and vendor coordination.

Language proficiency : Native Level Japanese (JLPT N) and Business Level english.
