Internship dates : May 4th to August 21st 2026

Location: The position is based at our Mississauga location; internship from Monday to Friday with flexible hours and exclusively on-site

Perform work on assignments associated with the design of gas turbine engine accessories; specifically to design validate and certify engine control system components (such as sensors harnesses ignition systems PMAs) for P&WC gas turbine engines. Develops experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.

What will your day-to-day look like

• Review evaluate and develop supplier designs of powered electronic and passive electrical accessories needed for aircraft engines to meet performance reliability and customer needs
• Create specifications apply technical knowledge
• Plan and coordinate with suppliers as required
• Define functional operational physical and qualification requirements for engine electronic controlssensors effectors and associated interconnecting components
• Support component and system validation test activities as required.
• Review and interpret test data produced during component and engine validation testing
• Support tasks per ECN accessories design process as required.

What do you need to be successful

• Be eligible to work in Canada
• Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship
• Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable Pursuing a degree in Aerospace/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken/written). French is an asset

• Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities
• Project management skills

The salary range for this role is 23.10 to 33.30 CAD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
