International Sales Representative Location Hybrid work in Edmonton, AB : Company: Finning Canada Worker Type: Permanent Position Overview: The International Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with Caterpillar and non-Caterpillar dealers, brokers and end users who deal in used equipment around the world, building a client base. :
- Selling of Caterpillar and non-Caterpillar products to Caterpillar and non-Caterpillar dealers, brokers and end users.
- Identify markets and strategies for purchasing and disposal of aged Cat and competitive equipment in the construction, forestry, mining and related businesses.
- Assist the Finance department in creating third-party financing opportunities and collection of debt and receivables.
- Develop and maintain client information data utilizing Finning (Canada)'s CRM software.
- Resolve customer product concerns and warranty or goodwill issues.
- Ensure all sales documents and customer agreements are completed in a consistent, accurate and in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with clients, demonstrating a high standard of professionalism and ethics.
- Forecast used equipment sales and achieve budgeted revenue targets for equipment sales.
Education and Experience: - 5 years of general line sales and product support experience in an asset.
- International business experience would be beneficial.
- The ability to speak and write a second or third language is an asset.
- Consulting, negotiation, networking, presentation, influencing and client relations skills.
- Sound knowledge of products related to the construction, mining and forestry business.
- Understand the International trade laws, environmental and safety certificates, freight challenges and documents required to properly do business in other countries.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong technical skills; with the ability to evaluate equipment conditions and understand market prices for a variety of products.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Selling, articulating and listening skills.
