Interior Designer

Full-time

Skills & Education:

• Demonstrated ability to provide design/drafting expertise and execute project.
• AutoCAD experience in drawing plans, modifications, tile layouts/flooring/paint and proficiency with other technology i.e. Office 365, SharePoint, Adobe etc.
• Ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships with clients, co-workers, management etc.
• Construction experience is preferred but not required.

Job duties:

• Meeting with clients to review plans, contract specifications and interior/exterior finishes
• Creating layouts (flooring, lighting, exterior elevations, detail drawings)
• Designing and drawing kitchens
• Entering change orders for potential upgrades and once priced presenting to clients for approval
• Finalizing all selections in file
• Ordering materials for construction i.e. cabinets, countertops etc.
• Site meetings to review electrical layouts with client
• Prepare material and colour schemes for spec homes and show homes
• Uploading files into online storage room- SharePoint
• Assisting in home staging
• Creating client binders and assisting with information flow to clients
