Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on recruitment, employee support, and retention strategies to ensure our school remains a top choice for talented professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of HR best practices, and a passion for creating a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition:

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for academic and non-academic positions.
• Develop and implement strategies to attract high-quality international school staff.
• Coordinate interviews, reference checks, and onboarding processes.

Employee Support:

• Serve as a trusted point of contact for staff inquiries and HR-related concerns.
• Ensure compliance with Japanese labor laws and school policies.
• Facilitate orientation programs and professional development initiatives.

Retention & Engagement:

• Design and execute employee engagement programs.
• Monitor staff satisfaction and recommend improvements.
• Support performance management and career development pathways.

HR Administration:

• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Assist with payroll coordination and benefits administration.
• Contribute to policy development and continuous process improvement.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)
• 40 hours per week
