Position Overview
The HSE/Fleet Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing Hoss Rentals Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs while also overseeing the performance, compliance, and safety of our fleet. This position plays a key role in ensuring that employees are properly trained, risks are mitigated, and both state and federal regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE):
Create and manage the monthly training schedule; provide regular safety training to all employees.
Deliver new hire safety orientation and training.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and other state and federal workplace regulations.
Coach employees in the proper use of Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) for routine tasks.
Identify and mitigate potential workplace hazards both in the shop and in the field.
Enforce Hoss Rentals and customer safety policies consistently.
Inspect and manage safety equipment inventory, including air packs, 4-gas monitors, fire extinguishers, and harnesses.
Conduct accident and incident investigations; submit reports and corrective actions as needed.
Maintain compliance with safety platforms such as ISNetworld, PEC, and Avetta.
Ensure continued eligibility for WSI safety discount programs, including entering First Reports of Injury and coordinating with WSI on employee safety items.
Maintain and update the Hoss Rentals HSE Manual and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Inspect work sites for environmental, health, and safety issues; ensure timely correction of discrepancies.
Maintain regular communication with oil company HSE personnel to stay updated on policy and procedure changes.
Manage the DISA account, ensuring drug and alcohol testing policies are followed.
Fleet Management:
Oversee and maintain Hoss Rentals vehicle fleet, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.
Maintain and update company DOT files.
Inspect and maintain vehicle safety equipment and ensure readiness at all times.
Manage preventative maintenance schedules, inspections, and repairs to minimize downtime.
Track fleet utilization, efficiency, and costs while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications
5+ years of HSE and/or Fleet Management experience in oilfield services, energy, or related industry.
Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and environmental regulations.
Experience managing safety programs, conducting investigations, and delivering training.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred:
Bachelors degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Logistics, or related field.
Safety certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST, OSHA 30/40).
Experience with DISA drug and alcohol compliance programs.
