Housekeeper Toronto, ON

Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Housekeeper for a family located in North York. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the residence. This position is full-time, live-out. Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 5:30pm with some flexibility when needed for events, holidays etc.

Candidate Profile:

You are a professional and motivated housekeeper with excellent housekeeping and laundry skills who enjoys keeping a clean and organized home. You communicate well and are comfortable working independently. You understand a home is a living environment, not just a workplace, and can easily adjust your daily schedule to accommodate activities in the residence. Our client is looking for someone who wants to invest in a stable, long-term. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Daily housekeeping to include, but not limited to, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, and staff area maintenance (basement office)
  

• Regular laundry of linens and bedding and occasional ironing 
  

• Trash and recycling management – sort and dispose of recycling, compost, and garbage correctly
  

• Ensure household security protocols are followed
  

• Answering the door, receive packages
  

• Run errands occasionally as needed
  

• Assistance in the Kitchen
  

• Supervise vendors as needed
  

• Dog walking 
  

• Other duties as assigned
  

Applicant Qualities:

• Excellent English communication skills and professional personal presentation
  

• Detail oriented
  

• Must be comfortable lifting 30 pounds 
  

• Must be comfortable with dogs
  

• Excellent housekeeping, laundry and ironing skills; correct use of products and methods for fine finishes and surfaces
  

• Must maintain privacy and confidentiality always, exercising diplomacy, discretion and respecting appropriate boundaries
  

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
