Sr. Government Relations Advisor

100% remote (Can be located in QC or ON, but must be fluently bilingual EN-FR)

Are you passionate about public policy and shaping meaningful connections across the public sector? We’re looking for a Sr. Government Relations Advisor to join a dynamic legal and governance team, reporting to the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.

In this strategic role, you'll lead efforts to engage with federal government stakeholders, develop advocacy strategies, and represent the organization in key discussions. You’ll help identify risks and opportunities, prepare high-impact briefings, and offer timely political insight to senior leadership—all while contributing to the advancement of important corporate objectives.

What We Require

• Must be bilingual EN-FR
• University degree in political science, law, public policy, or related field
• 4+ years in government relations, public affairs, or policy analysis, or has worked in a position bridging communication gaps amongst several key parties (e.g. lawyer)
• Knowledge of federal policy processes and political environments

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain strong relationships with public officials and thought leaders
• Monitor government initiatives, policies, and programs to identify opportunities and risks
• Develop and execute government relations plans and advocacy strategies
• Represent the organization in meetings with federal stakeholders and associations
• Draft high-level briefing notes, reports, and strategic communications
• Advise executives on key political developments and public policy trends
