What to expect….

SUMMARY : ATS Healthcare is currently looking for a Business Development Manager working out of our branch in Toronto. We are looking for a strong “hunter” who has experience in the healthcare and / or logistics industry and who has the skills and desire to succeed by developing new business for ATS Healthcare.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop strategies to contribute to continuous quality improvement in order to meet and exceed customer expectations
• Prepare sales contracts and proposals as per set guidelines
• Monitor sales activities, maintain records and compile reports
• Continuously work with new customers to gain a thorough understanding of their business needs and requirements while offering solutions
• Conduct sales calls with potential customers and deliver sales presentations that follow the company’s sales plan.
• Establish strong sales relationships with pharmaceutical and healthcare companies by understanding their business needs and by continuing to offer value-added solutions
• Maintain current and detailed account profiles on all targets
• Independently manage, monitor and report on your assigned territory to ensure reach and frequency of targets are being met on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
• Prepare sales contracts and proposals as per set guidelines
• Attend internal and external sales meetings
• Follow up on accounts receivables

What you need….

• Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
• Successful track record in developing business in the Transportation industry
• Experience in new account acquisition, cold calling and project management.
• Excellent prospecting and cold calling techniques
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Excellent presentation skills and proven sales ability
• Experience in the transportation, logistics and/or Pharmaceutical/healthcare industry would be considered an asset
• Good computer skills, particularly with Sales Force and in MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
