Our students come from diverse backgrounds and have a wide range of learning needs and abilities. We’re located in  Concord and are easily accessible from Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, and surrounding areas.

About You

We’re looking for a passionate and dependable  French tutor or teacher who:

• Has a warm, child-centered personality
• Is  approachable ,  coachable , and open to learning
• Possesses excellent  oral and written French skills
• Has a background in  education ,  special education , or  educational psychology
• Can teach both 1-on-1 and in small group settings
• Demonstrates strong  communication skills with students, parents, and staff
• Maintains classroom discipline while delivering effective and engaging lessons

About the Role

• Plan and deliver engaging French language instruction aligned with curriculum standards
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate individual student needs
• Participate in occasional team meetings or trainings
• Maintain professionalism and positive relationships with families
• Provide regular progress updates and communication as needed

Requirements

• Educational background in a relevant field (teaching, special education, child development, etc.)
• Prior experience teaching/tutoring children or adolescents
• Ability to manage and motivate students of varying ability levels
• Clear  criminal background check
• Professional references from previous roles

Compensation

• $33/hour for 1-on-1 instruction
• $40/hour for group classes

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $33.00-$40.00 per hour

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2025-09-03
