Job Description
We are currently looking for a motivated and reliable Food Production Worker to join our team at our client's location in Saanichton, BC. The ideal candidate will have cooking or food knowledge and be looking for a full-time position. You will be working in an industrial kitchen environment, preparing a variety of food items alongside an experienced team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your culinary skills.
Position: Food Production Worker
Location: Saanichton, BC
Employment Type: Full-time Temporary (35–40 hours per week)
Tentative end date: April 2026
Schedule: 5 days a week, starting at 7:00 AM, with the workday ending between 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM.
Wage: $21/hour

Responsibilities
• Prepare and produce a variety of food items.
• Operate and work with industrial kitchen equipment, potentially including a fryer.
• Work collaboratively with trained staff to learn new tasks and recipes.
• Ensure all food preparation and handling adhere to health and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
• Previous cooking or food preparation experience.
• Ability to work a 5-day-a-week schedule with a 7:00 AM start time.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Reliable with excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.
• A willingness to learn and be trained on new tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
