POSTION:                    Food Laboratory Quality Control Technician – 2 positions – Fulltime Permanent

DUTIES:                       

• Ensure the in-house laboratory program meets Customer, Company, and Government requirements by following established protocols; 
• Work with the Sanitation team to ensure the environmental programs are in place and acceptable results are achieved, micro results are within customer expectations.
• Provide regular trending data on ATP and microbiological swab results collected for our Environmental program. 
• Responsible for the set-up and maintenance of the in-house microbiology program including Good Laboratory Practices. 
• Ensure that the microbiological program is effective and is functioning per the written program and ensure the timely release of finished goods in compliance to Customer, Company, and Government requirements
• Follow up any out of specification microbiological results with a Root Cause Analysis; 
• Report all information to the QA Manager and Quality Assurance Director.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• College or University degree in Food Safety and Quality Assurance
• B.Sc or equivalent
• One year Experience as Food Quality Assurance Technician

SALARY:

• $36/hr
