Responsibilities - Design and optimize month-end closing processes with the goal of reducing closing timelines
- Develop and implement robust internal control framework across all financial functions
- Lead the comprehensive review of month-end reports and standardize closing procedures
- Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting quality and timing
- Manage tax compliance and develop planning strategies to reduce the effective tax rate
- Lead technical accounting research for complex transactions
- Support M&A activities
- Create quantifiable efficiency gains in all reporting processes
Required Skills & Experience - CPA designation required with 3+ years of experience. Experience in an accounting firm is valued)
- Knowledge of month-end close process optimization techniques
- Experience implementing internal controls in complex organizations
- Background in multi-entity financial consolidation and reporting
- Experience with multi-jurisdictional tax planning and compliance
- Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting and/or taxation
- Strategic vision and ability to lead transformation initiatives
- Knowledge of NetSuite considered an asset
