Renaissance is a nationally recognized commercial and residential historical restoration company specializing in traditional exterior historical building systems. Our craftsman works on roofing systems, structural and finish carpentry, masonry, architectural sheet metal, and other historical systems not commonly found in current construction methods. Our clients include State Capitols, Churches, Universities, Libraries, Private Estates, and properties of all types on the National Register of Historic Places. Using our Core Values, the right person will meet or exceed the following Qualifications and be capable of carrying out the responsibilities listed below.

Qualifications for Skilled Tradesmen:

• 2-4 or more years of experience in their trade on both residential and historical projects.
• Possess your own hand tools (hammer, speed square, pencil, carpenters pouches, etc.)
• Ability to work closely with the roofing crew and project coordinator.
• Be able to measure, cut, and correctly fasten wood structures per project specs.
• Shape or cut materials using hand tools, machines, or power saw. 
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials. 
• Able to perform all steep slope roofing activities (set and climb ladders, carry 50 lbs, etc...)
• Have excellent communication and team orientated attitude.
• Multitasked. 
• Technical competency. 
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Clean, Valid driver’s license is a PLUS.
• Must be able to pass a nationwide background check, drug test, and physical.
• Able to work 10-12 hour days, year-round.

Compensation:

• Hourly plus Commissions at Competitive Rates based upon Experience
