What You’ll Like About This Job
North American Construction Group is hiring experienced Excavator Operators for its Kearl mining site near Fort McMurray, Alberta. This unionized position offers a 14/14 rotation, paid camp accommodations, and flights from major cities. Ideal candidates will have extensive heavy equipment experience in production environments.
Perks & Benefits
• Up to a combined rate of $58.16/hour
• Night shift premium of $1.20/hour
• Camp accommodations
• Paid flights from Edmonton or Calgary
• Weekly pay and PPE provided
• Medical, dental, and pension after 400 hours

What You'll Need
• 2–3 years of experience operating excavators (870 or larger)
• Experience in a mining or production environment
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• CSO and Wildlife Awareness tickets (Kearl Only)
• Must pass drug/alcohol tests, medical screening, and orientation

What Will Make You Stand Out
• Experience in ditch sloping and grade excavation
• High school diploma or post-secondary education
• Strong safety mindset and team communication skills
