Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer focused Seasonal Event Staff memeber to join our vibrant and supportive team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about craft cider, possess excellent communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment. If you are an energetic individual with a love for cider and community events, we would love to hear from you!
This position is part time (15 - 25 hours/ week). Locarions vary between the Core Values Taproom (1402 Railway Ave. Canmore, AB) and various event locations in the Bow Valley/Calgary.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with event setup and teardown, ensuring the venue is welcoming and organized.
• Greeting and engaging with guests, providing information about our ciders and event offerings.
• Serving cider samples and managing sales transactions accurately.
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in event areas.
• Supporting team members with various event-related tasks as needed.
• Become a craft beverage expert. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our wildly fermented craft ciders and other offerings in order to guide our guests in their selections.
• Process guest payments efficiently and accurately, handle cash and operate our point-of-sale system.
• Maintain and ensure safe food handling practices.
• Work collaboratively with teammates to ensure smooth service and fun times for all.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or the beverage industry is a plus, but a love for craft beverages is a must!
• You’ve got the gift of gab and can chat with anyone.
• You’re all about making people happy and creating a welcoming vibe.
• Happy and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays—it’s when the fun happens!
• Ready to be on your feet and lift up to 25 pounds with ease.
• ProServe certification
