Your new role
As Estimator, you will join a high‑performing team responsible for managing preconstruction activities for ITC’s upcoming projects. This is an office‑based role where you will support a variety of projects and contribute value throughout the entire preconstruction lifecycle—from design through to contract letting and planning. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include scope definition and clarification, preconstruction planning, development and delivery of control estimates, preparation of preliminary budgets, cost plans and detailed estimates, and identification of value‑engineering opportunities. As this company typically operates under a negotiated delivery method and not fixed price, this will be a less pressurized environment that many estimators would likely enjoy. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to further their career in high-rise construction and learn from some of the most experienced minds in the industry.
What you'll need to succeed
The role requires a minimum of 1(+) years of experience in the Vancouver market with either a General Contractor or Developer‑Builder. Ideally, candidates will have exposure to high‑rise residential or mixed‑use projects; however, experience in smaller‑scale residential or major commercial/institutional work will also be considered. A post‑secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is considered an asset. You will be a dynamic and effective team player with strong knowledge of construction processes, solid problem‑solving abilities, and a high level of personal and professional integrity.
