Our team provides technical consultative services to Akamai's most strategic customers. We collaborate to solve challenging problems, innovate to provide creative solutions, and enable our customers to get the most out of what Akamai can offer.

Become a technical Influencer

As part of the Advanced Solutions team, you'll provide technical advisory services and design recommendations to key decision-makers, influencing your customers' business strategies and maximizing the value they receive from our products, specifically the Akamai Connected Cloud.

You'll be the lead expert on cutting-edge and emerging technologies, sharing your subject-matter expertise outside and within the organization

As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for:

Working with customers to define a technical strategy for business-critical cloud, web applications, and network infrastructure

Providing guidance to peers on best practices and latest technology trends including Cloud services, Dev-Ops, and etc

Partnering with Product Management and Research & Development teams to develop future product direction and strategy

Ensuring smooth running of customer engagements and act as final technical escalation point for internal stakeholders

Building technical thought-leadership in Cloud Computing to support overall business growth in the cloud tech stack

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

Experience working in a customer facing technical role with a public cloud or cloud software company.

Demonstrate great experience in architecting complex IaaS solutions for customers and professional architect level recognition from leading hyperscalers such as AWS, GCP or Azure

Demonstrate in-depth skills in any of these domains: website/mobile app development, DevSecOps technology stacks, and media streaming. Cloud computing (IaaS) domain expertise

Demonstrate skills in standard open-source software, including Kubernetes, Knative, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ELK stack, Redis, Hive, and Spark.

Be able to solve untackled technical problems, through listening, structured analytical, creative thinking, decision-making, and teamwork.

Demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to technical and non-technical audiences

Communicate with various stakeholders in Fluent Japanese and Fluent English
