Newfangled is a digital marketing consultancy. They work primarily with small-to-medium-sized creative firms and digital shops, helping these companies market themselves and track the success of their marketing. They have more than doubled in size over the past year, with no signs of stopping.

With 32 people distributed across the US and Eastern Europe, the Newfangled team has developed a strong culture as a remote organization!

Newfangled is now expanding its team and seeking individuals with foundational skills, with a strong emphasis on strategic thinking and the potential for client-facing responsibilities . Their Email Marketing Specialists are the experts who:

• Design and manage all outbound marketing strategies
• Train and support those same clients on the marketing technology that's required to make their digital marketing successful
• Analyse the results of their digital marketing campaigns and provide prospecting data, insights, and recommendations

As the Email Marketing Specialist for Newfangled, you will:

🧾 Build automated email campaign programs in Act-On and Hubspot

📦 Create email schedules in Asana

📑 Manage email list tactics in Hubspot and or Act-On primarily

💼 Support and work with existing email marketing strategists

During your first week, there will be an onboarding program to familiarise you with the work, but a baseline familiarity with email marketing is required. Your first weeks will consist of onboarding and training, as well as the creation of a few email campaigns.

Candidates need to have worked in B2B marketing and are required to have previous agency (internal or external) or relevant marketing department experience.

To excel in this role, you need to have:

✅ 5+ years of digital marketing experience in B2B verticals

✅ Previous agency experience

✅ Experience using marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Pardot, ActOn, etc.)

✅ A basic understanding of WordPress, Google Analytics, and CRM platforms

✅ Understanding of email marketing platforms, HTML, automated program workflows and creation of workflows, email templates, list management and segmentation and deployment

As the Ideal Candidate, you should be:

✅ Knowledgeable in the areas of email marketing, marketing automation, SEO, and funnel campaigns

✅ Able to learn new technologies quickly, often independently, then pass that knowledge on to others

✅ Experienced in direct communication and interaction with clients

✅ Having a strategic capacity

✅ Able to explain complex ideas in a digestible format, and then document those ideas in easy-to-read written notes

✅ Eager to work in a team environment, both with internal teams and with clients

✅ Organized and mindful of the deadlines

• 📅 Very flexible working schedule: Newfangled team works from 8 am to 5 pm CDT, but you can have minimal overlap depending on location
