About the Opportunity:

Our next venture addresses a critical need: designing freezers to prevent freezer burn and maintain food freshness: .

We’re seeking a Electrical Engineer Founder to revolutionize food preservation — reducing freezer burn, keeping food fresh, and cutting waste. You’ll define the product, validate the market, and build the technical roadmap, bringing cutting-edge research or industry experience into a venture-backed startup.

What You'll Do:

• Design, build, and test next-generation freezer systems for supercooled states.
• Integrate electrical, magnetic, and thermal subsystems for precise control.
• Develop circuits, power electronics, and control logic for tunable field applications.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, physicists, and materials scientists to optimize performance.
• Implement safety protocols, power management, and fail-safes for high-field, low-temperature environments.
• Support prototyping, troubleshooting, and scaling from lab to production.
• Document designs and testing protocols to accelerate deployment.

What We're Looking For:

• BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering (PhD a plus).
• Strong in circuit design, power electronics, and control systems .
• Experience with magnetic/electric field generation & control (e.g., coils, high-voltage, PWM).
• Knowledge of cryogenics or refrigeration systems is highly desirable.
• Skilled in embedded systems and real-time control .
• Hands-on with prototyping and troubleshooting electromechanical systems .
• Team-oriented, documentation-driven, and entrepreneurial.
• (Bonus) Startup or project-leadership experience.
