Sparks Group has partnered with a quickly growing electrical company seeking a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager! This position requires travel to assigned projects on a daily basis so valid drivers license is required. You MUST have Project Management experience OR Engineering experience within the electrical, mechanical or construction industries (Commerical space required) and are confident with: successful execution of projects, management, profitability and timely completion of their assigned projects please apply now and call 301 926 7800

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manage all financial aspects of projects through ongoing job forecasting and budgeting.
• Oversee pre-con meetings to ensure successful hand off from estimating to field.
• Set clear goals and expectations to foreman.
• Negotiate and resolve all customer concerns.
• Estimate change orders for assigned projects.
• Manage all jobs closeout procedures.
• Conduct post project reviews to determine areas for future improvement.
• Provide coaching/counseling to foreman and Assistant Project Manager.
• Develop/maintain network of professional relationships within our industry.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam Outlook e-mail & calendar.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work as a team and individually with a positive and professional attitude.
• Capable multi-tasker able to execute the many tasks at hand effectively.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors’ Degree preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years in a Project Management Role for the Project Manager position, 8-10 to be considered for the Sr PM role.
• Field experience preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Pay Range: Salary $100,000.00 to $150,000.00
