Job Summary

Bob Dean Supply is on the lookout for a dedicated and dynamic individual who is eager to learn and thrive in a team environment to enhance our Pump and Motor department. This person will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul electric motors.

General Accountabilities

  • Dismantle, rewind, reassemble, and test electric motors
  • Identify and repair problems in stators, rotor, armatures and other electromechanical equipment.
  • Operate specialized repair and testing equipment and various hand-held power and non-power tools.
  • Maintain clean and safe work area and follow all safety rules and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repair options
  • Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to guide repair processes

Job Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: 1-2 years of related experience as an electric motor and pump mechanic, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and specialized equipment for repairs
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
