eFX Application Support Analyst:

On behalf of our financial services client, Procom is searching for an eFX Application Support Analyst for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Mississauga office.

eFX Application Support Analyst - Job Description:

As an eFX Application Support Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in running and maintaining the production environment for franchise-critical applications, enabling the business to confidently service clients. The role involves driving stability and service improvements, developing application knowledge, and collaborating with senior business partners globally.

eFX Application Support Analyst - Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain, and support applications and their operating environments, providing technical and business support for users.
• Perform start of day checks, continuous monitoring, regional handovers, and same-day risk reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain technical support documentation for support team members and wider technology teams.
• Partner with application development and production support areas to prioritize bug fixes and support tooling requirements.
• Assess risk and impact of production issues, escalating to business and technology management as needed.
• Participate in application releases from development, testing, and deployment into the production environment.
• Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.

eFX Application Support Analyst - Mandatory Skills:

• Experience in a Production Support role/environment.
• Proficiency with SQL and Linux.
• Experience installing, configuring, and/or supporting business applications.
• Knowledge and experience of Problem Management Tools.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders with clear, articulate communication.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment demonstrating practical problem-solving skills.

eFX Application Support Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in Foreign Exchange / Markets Support.
• SRE mindset and experience.
• Ability to build excellent working relationships.
• Experience working with global teams.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.

eFX Application Support Analyst – Assignment Length:

This is a 12 month contract position.
